Saturday, May 29th
11.15am

The PARADE, led round the Town by Gunner Edgar Lawrence, marshalled by courtesy of Brixham Rotaty. Everyone welcome to join in. We gather on The Old Fish Market.

11.30am

The Martial Arts Spectactular Lion and Drums will lead the Parade with Clowns, Charlbury Morris Men, Brixham Sea Rangers, Ace Taxis, Samba Jam, Mr. P, Majorettes, Pirates, Ghost Walkers etc; come and join in fancy dress, advertise your business of group. Everyone welcome.

12.00pm

Brixham's very own Samba Jam entertain.

12.00pm

The great clowns Cosmo and Lez the Fez with magic and balloon sculptures through the Town.

12.00pm -

BBQ and Bistro Lunches, or enjoy a Cream Tea at The Berry Head Hotel - food served all day. Hotel contact number 01803 853225

The wonderful Amazing Wayne, up to his tricks, thrills us again this year.
12.40pm

The Brixham Sailing Trawlers Rally and Race in the Bay. Watch these graceful ships from the Breakwater.

The Charlbury Morris Men entertain you.
1.30pm
The Paignton Sapphires Majorettes team display in Fore Street.
2.00pm
The Charlbury Morris Men dance in Fore Street in case you missed them on the Quay.
2.15pm

The Town's Pride of Brixham Majorettes team display in Fore Street.

2.45pm The Magnificent Lez the Fez with balloon sculptures for the children and grown-ups to admire.
3.45pm - 5.30pm Route 66 - a duo always welcome at the Festival with their own style of music.
7.30pm - 9.50pm The very popular Mr. P. Body's Rock and Roll Train make their first appearence of the week. Sponsored by Shores Restaurant and Brixham Trawler Agents.
7.00pm - 9.30pm BBQ on the Terrace at The Berry Head Hotel - weather permitting, and in the Piano Bar with Pam from 9pm.
8.00pm Join us abroad The English Riviera WW2 Heritage Ship Fairmile for a wonderful Evening Cruise around Torbay from Brixham to watch the Heritage Week Firework Display. Great fun for all the family on a vessal of true English Heritage. Sponsored by Greenway Ferry. Please book on 01803 882811
9.50pm

GRAND FIREWORKS DISPLAY by Skyburst Illuminations over the Harbour set to classical music with an Outer Space theme. Please welcome Mark Criddle, full time Coxswain of Torbay Lifeboat Station, and join him in the Countdown to the first Firework Display of the week. Fireworks sponsored by Quayside Hotel, The Berry Head Hotel, Brixham Yacht Club and the Heritage Festival.

 
Sunday, May 30th
11.00am

Torbay Owls and Company featuring Eagle, Barn and Tawny Owls, and extra this year a Harrier Hawk, an American Red tail Buzzard and a Falcon. Hold them and be photographed. On the front lawn at the Berry Head Hotel.

12.00pm - 2.30pm

Lunch from the Carvery, Brasserie food and drinks served on the Terrace at The Berry Head Hotel. Relax and listen to some live Jazz.

2.00pm

Our Festival regulars Mr P. Body’s Rock and Roll Train with music you remember. Sponsored by Plymouth and South West Co-Operative Society.

4.30pm The Green Willow Clog Dancers with some energetic entertainment!
8.00pm Brixham’s Festival of the Sea for the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen, with John Anderson. A Blessing and celebration of the Brixham Fleet with the Town Band, the Riviera Singers and the Brixham Orpheus Male Voice Choir.
9.00pm The Quayside Hotel. Live Music in the Ernie Lister Bar with Southern Comfort.
 
Monday, May 31st


Brixham Heritage Museum
Throughout the week during opening hours, come to the Museum and contrubite to a large seaside mosiac design. Competition - design a postcard featuring the seaside attractions of Torbay. Prizes will be awarded. For details and pre-booking, contact Louise Cresswell on 01803 856267.

10am - 3.00pm Brixham Heritage Museum. Family craft session / workshop celetrating Brixham's seaside and maritime heritage. Open to children with parent / guardian. FREE.
2.00pm- 6.00pm

We present the Stiltskin Creative Arts and Theatre Company with a colourful and funfilled "The Fishwives of Knorrel Nock" walkabout act with audience participation.

7.00pm - 9.30pm Live music with "Swingshift" - shades of Glen Miller.
7.00pm BBQ on the Terrace featuring local fish and meats, at The Berry Head Hotel followed by Live Entertainment in the bar with Eddie Bence and Margaret Duffy from 8.30pm.
 
Tuesday, June 1st
10am - 12pm Brixham Heritage Museum. Flint tool making workshop by Karl Lee for children 8-12 years old - FREE but places limited so pre-booking essential.
11am

The Strand Art Gallery. Artist Bill Stockman, known as "William in Orange" for over 40 years will demonstrate his painting. Children can then draw their own pictures and win prizes - future artists may be discovered! Paper and crayons supplied.

1.00pm - 3.00pm Brixham Heritage Museum. Flint tool making demonstration by Karl Lee open to all ages. Come and see something different! FREE for children, normal admission prices apply otherwise.
4.00pm

Have some fun with 44Gun - an old-time American Appalachian Mountain string band with fiddle, guitar, banjo and double bass - you'll just have to dance!

7.00pm The John Shillito Select Six with some Traditional Jazz. Sponsored by Harbourway Dental Services and IAW Accountancy Services.
7.30pm

The Original Ghost Walk starts from the William of Orange Statue. Allow 2 hours of your life. Adults £5, OAPs £3, Children £2. Babies and dogs go free.

 
Wednesday, June 2nd
2.00pm - 5.00pm Brixham Library. Brixham's Prehistoric Heritage Workshop for children 8-12 years. Write a poem about your flint tool made at the Museum or about Brixham's prehistoric heritage and be filmed for a DVD. FREE but please pre-book with the Library on 01803 853870.

Thursday, June 3rd

Pirate Themed Family Fun including Puppet Show, music, sword dance, Pirate tales and much more - something for everyone!

The Really Wild Show in the Scala Hall as seen on TV - we really love the show. Join the queue of all ages to see creatures small and wild. Sponsored byt L.J. Boyce Estate Agents.

Classic Vehicle Rally by the Breakwater. Supported by Eric Lloyd & Co Churston and Pope & Son Radio & T.V.

7.00pm - 9.30pm

Enjoy a Fish and Chips Night at the Berry Head Hotel. A wide selection of Brixham-landed fish to choose from.

Our very own Brixham Town Band continue with their regular Thursday evening concerts. Please support this event.

Friday, June 4th
10.00am

Throughout the day the Royal National Lifeboat Charity invite you to check out the goods on their stalls and our Clown Lez the Fez will be around to keep the children (and grown-ups) amused.

10.00am - 3.00pm

5.00pm - 6.30pm "Sixfold" an offshoot from the Totnes Jazz Workshop playing standard melodies.

Spend an evening with High Society, a sophisticated six-piece band recreating the elegant syncopated and Latin sounds of the 20s, 30s, 40s and much more.

7.00pm - 9.30pm

The Berry Head Hotel BBQ on the terrace with Southern Comfort Duo live in the bar at 9.30p.m onwards.

 
Saturday, June 5th
11.00am

Crab Catching Competition for 6-12 year olds - just bring a line, bucket and bait and win some prizes. Takes place between Kings Quay and the Events Pontoon. Sponsored by Eric Lloyd & Co, Churston.

12.00pm - 9.30pm ALL DAY BBQ featuring Brixham fish and local meats on the terrace at The Berry Head Hotel, with Pam in the Piano Bar from 9.00pm.
1.30pm A dancing display from the Riviera Twirlstars Majorettes Team.
2.15pm We present the Temple Gym Black Belt Academy with a sensational Kung Fu display and Lion Dance.
3.00pm The Dolcet Tones - a young group visiting the Festival for the first time with their own music. Sponsored by Roger Richards Solicitors.
5.30pm

Welcome back the Teign Valley Stompers with some Mainstream Jazz. Sponsored by Shipmates.

7.30pm

The Tone Valley Jazzmen entertain you before the final Firework Display of the week.
